Dino Beganovic will remain with Prema Powerteam for a second season in the Formula Regional European Championship in 2022.
Beganovic finished 13th overall, and third in the rookie standings, in the hotly contested single-seater series in 2021, ending the campaign in encouraging style with a podium at Mugello and a pole position at the final round at Monza.
17-year-old Swede Beganovic also continues to represent the Ferrari Driver Academy.
“I’m thrilled to be back in the Formula Regional European Championship next year and extend my relationship with Prema for another season,” says Dino Beganovic. “We worked incredibly hard to put ourselves in a position to win races towards the end of the year, and I can’t wait to try and build on that momentum in 2022. The championship is fantastic and I’m excited to be back!”
The 2022 Formula Regional European Championship will feature a ten-round calendar for a total of 20 races, beginning at Monza in Italy on April 23-24. The series retains its prestigious support slot at the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix.
