Dino Beganovic returns to action in the FIA Formula 2 Championship this weekend, joining the field once again as the season draws to a close in Abu Dhabi.
The Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy member enjoyed a strong start to life in the F1 feeder series last weekend in Qatar, bouncing back from a practice issue to qualify fourth on debut and finish fifth in Sunday’s Feature Race.
With little time for contemplation before the season rages on this weekend at the spectacular Yas Marina Circuit, Beganovic is looking to build on the momentum of Qatar as he continues to adapt to the DAMS Lucas Oil F2 car.
“We had a really great first weekend together in Qatar, and now I can’t wait to see what we can do in Abu Dhabi,” says Dino Beganovic. “The first aim will be to get some practice in this time! Yas Marina is a circuit much more well-known to the F2 regulars, so I expect it to be a different challenge, but we’ll take it as it comes and aim to do another good job. I’m very excited.”
Abu Dhabi is the 14th and final round of this year’s FIA Formula 2 Championship. Mirroring the same time table as last weekend in Qatar, the event begins with practice and qualifying on Friday followed by the Sprint Race on Saturday and Feature Race on Sunday.
