- Formula 2 resumes in Budapest
- Swede looking to enter summer break on a high
The FIA Formula 2 Championship continues in a quick turnaround this weekend, as Dino Beganovic heads to the boiling valleys of Budapest for the final round before the summer break.
Just days after scoring his third podium of the season at Spa, Beganovic readies himself for another brace of races at the vastly different Hungaroring – a tight and twisty circuit on the outskirts of the Hungarian capital.
“Budapest once again will be a lot about qualifying, and we did take a good step forward there last weekend at Spa,” says Dino Beganovic. “We will need even more at Hungaroring, which is one of the most difficult places all year to overtake. It’s a really fun track to drive, very technical and rhythmic. I’m looking forward to racing there this weekend and hopefully finish off strongly before the summer break.”
Formula 2 action begins as usual on Friday, with free practice followed by the all-important qualifying session that sets the grid for both of the weekend’s races.
The Sprint Race is scheduled for 28 laps on Saturday, while the Feature Race runs to 37 laps on Sunday.
