- Swede slots into Ferrari SF-25 for a full day of action at Yas Marina
- Productive day completed in final F1 session of the year
Dino Beganovic returned to the track in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday for a full day of running in the Formula 1 young driver test, completing a comprehensive programme with Ferrari.
Racking up plenty of mileage aboard the Scuderia’s 2025 F1 challenger, the SF-25, Beganovic amassed 122 laps around Yas Marina Circuit – the equivalent of more than two Abu Dhabi Grand Prix distances.
The Swede wound up ninth on the timesheets among 25 cars out on track, although lap times were largely incomparable as all teams worked on vastly different programmes.
With a focus on 2026 development ahead of F1’s comprehensively new rules era, today’s test marked the final session of the year for Formula 1, making Beganovic one of the very last drivers to sample the current-day ground-effect cars.
“I had a very good day in Abu Dhabi,” says Dino Beganovic. “It was really nice to be back in the car with Ferrari; it’s always a very special feeling. We completed all the planned programme, which was our main target, and I’m really happy with how everything went. I found my references quite quickly and in the afternoon we did some long runs, and everything went well.
“Just the sheer joy of driving this car one more time this year is enough to keep me smiling for a while. I’d like to thank the team for the opportunity and I’m looking forward to next season.”
