– Swede determined to keep adding performance in tight F3 field
– British Grand Prix weekend completes intense triple-header
Fresh from a return to the podium in Austria, Dino Beganovic has not quenched his thirst for success as the FIA Formula 3 Championship rages on with yet another thrilling pair of races coming up at Silverstone.
Beganovic picked up his second podium of the season last weekend at Spielberg, adding to his victory in Melbourne earlier in the year to climb into fourth in the FIA F3 standings.
As an intense triple-header of events concludes in Britain this weekend, the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy member is keen to build on his recent accomplishment, striving to unlock even more performance at the high-speed Silverstone circuit.
“We had a solid feature race last Sunday, and we’ll take that momentum into Silverstone trying to do an even better job this weekend,” says Dino Beganovic. “That said, we’re still not quite where we want to be, and we need to react now to close that gap. We have been working flat out these last couple of days to leave no stone unturned.
“Silverstone is one of my favourite tracks from last year. It’s fantastic to drive in a Formula 3 car with so many fast, sweeping corners, and I’m really looking forward to being back there hopefully battling up front where we belong.”
Beganovic and his Formula 3 rivals will take to the track on Friday for practice and qualifying, followed by the sprint race on Saturday and the feature race on Sunday, building up to the Formula 1 British Grand Prix.
